Katherine (Kate) started her law career as a clerk for an appellate judge in the Missouri Court of Appeals. She then worked for a preeminent firm in St. Louis assisting businesses with employee benefit health plan compliance and retirement tax planning. She enjoys building relationships with clients and upholds Inkwell’s mission to provide peace-of-mind to a broader scope of individuals and families with the creation of an estate plan specific to their needs. She not only prepares her clients’ legal plans, she also educates her clients so that they understand how the technical language works to achieve their goals.
Beyond Inkwell Katherine:
Kate is the mother of three children in Clayton, Missouri. Her oldest son, a cross country and track runner, ski-racer, and violinist, aspires to earn a pilot’s license before he graduates from college. Her middle son, a snowboarder, hockey player, and lacrosse player, loves to crack jokes and tell stories. Her daughter, a cellist, ski racer and swimmer, loves to sing and listen to vinyl records.
A classically-trained soprano, Kate has been singing in a local professional choir (The St. Louis Chamber Chorus) since 2001, and also performs solo recitals from time to time.
Kate travels to her home state, Michigan, as much as she can. She also enthusiastically performs the duties of an “Iron Sherpa” for her endurance athlete husband Todd, who has completed 9 Ironman triathlons.

Date Kate Established Her Plan
Established in April of 2017 because she knew the Will she and her husband downloaded from the internet years ago was not enough to provide the financial and legal protection her family needed.
